Hello,
I am Jay's unconscious mind.
I have relieved Jay temporarily of control of his body until he calms down or has a heart attack whichever comes first.

basically he is trying to say that The house sale is definite, he moves on Friday, the house still is not packed, Saturday he starts a production week, Poppy is getting over a cold and therefore ratty, vic has a cold and is therefore ratty, and he might be getting a cold. Plus there is all the usual shit of work, money and life.
So don't fuck with him he is a man on the edge.
Although he is always open to kind words of advice and love from all out there, Thanks to those who have already written.

Any way I'm going to switch him off now as we could do with some herbal tea and sleep, I am sure he will be back to normal tomorrow.

bye.

Addition
Just to let you all know that it looks like we finally have a date for moving.

the 30th.

Yes that's right next Friday, So posts may be sporadic for a week and then will be probably having to be done from my mobile until I can get the comps set up at the new place and plumbed in to broadband. Please bear with me.

On other news, my comments well seems to have dried up and I'm feeling very alone, is anyone out there or are you all to busy to speak.

Oh and I just got the Smiths singles album and forgot how bloody good they were.

Madness

Two news stories caught my attention this week, The first was this:

"British army break soilders out of jail"

The story goes somthing like this:
Two undercover british soilders were arrested for murdering two police officers in basra, after failing to get them relised by diplomatic means the british army decided to break them out, using tanks and helicoptors.

now stop me if im wrong but isn't this the country we are supposed to stablise by training a police force and weeding out corruption. Obviously the british forces have a different remit, possably do as I say not as I do.

The other story was this one:

"Police investigation into allagations (lack of spell check) of cocaine use by kate moss"

Who cares! surley the met have better things to investigate than that. Christ if the police investigated every model for a possable past coke habit they would never get any work done. what a waste of resources.

Evening fun.
Well after a hard days work vic and I did a mad dash out to frenchay hospital this evening for her MRI and after a good 15mins trying to find the right department (hospitals are like bloody rabbit warrens you spend hours traipsing round corridors to get to an office that was 10ft from where you began, through a wall) we realized we were in the wrong hospital, DOH!

So an insane drive across Bristol to get to the right hospital (same corridor problem) we finally arrived at the MRI suite and just managed to get there before they close, Phew.

Although this episode does spring up a few questions.
  1. On the drive between hospitals I tried to call the right one to let them know we were on our way, The problem is that the number on there letter is for office hours only. What use is that, If you schedule an appointment out of office hours you should have someone who can field calls
  2. Why are hospitals designed like labyrinths (not just the old ones new ones too) to the extent that you have to put different coloured dots on the floor for people to follow.
  3. And lastly, Why are the car parks so sodding expensive.
Anyway we just have to wait for the results now so in the mean time here is another poem from the book of counted sorrows.

By the Light Of the MoonFire.

Now take my hand and hold it tight.
I will not fail you here tonight,

For failing you, I fail myself

And place my soul upon a shelf

In Hell's library without light.

I will not fail you here tonight.

Dark but nice.

Counted sorrows.
Some of you will know my passion for Poe. I like dark poems there twisted moroseness has an appeal to me.

Well for some time now I have been reading Dean koonz's books (for those of you not familiar he writes thrillers, think Stephen king but darker and more psychological) and in his books he quotes poetry from a book called "The book of counted sorrows" to illustrate a mood or setting at the start of a chapter.
Now I had all ways thought that this was a real book but apparently not they are poems of his own creation, which after being besieged with requests from jo public and many librarians he has now released. So I thought over the coming days I would post a few of my favs for you to read and contemplate.

Here is the first.

from The Servants of Twilight

Pestilence, disease, and war
haunt this sorry place.
And nothing lasts forever;
that's a truth we have to face.

We spend vast energy and time
plotting death for one another.
No one, nowhere, is ever safe.
Not father, child, or mother.

Is the end of the world a-coming?
Is that the devil they hear humming?
Are those doomsday bells a-ringing?
Is that the Devil they hear singing?
Or are their dark fears exaggerated?
Are these doom-criers addlepated?

Those who fear the coming of all Hells
are those who should be feared themselves.

I did tell you they were a little dark.

More tomorrow.

Moblo2

Well just to let you all know that this post and the last have been sent from my mobile (without the aid of a spell checker). Why? because im still at bloody work that's why and will be till 10pm.
I tell you, it's like a nightmare world of blood, sex and electrical cable down her, or is that just an insight into my psyche that you did'nt need.
Any way I am still at work as tonight is the first preview to the public of Kneehigh's Tristan and Yesult (there press night is tomorrow) and I am on cover. I must admit that I don't mind these cover shifts as the company is pretty self sufficant, it is only the fact that I have been in since 10am and had very little sleep that I am feeling a little grumpy.
Oh well I should go into overtime this week so I keep thinking of the cash.
Will try to post somthing when I get home but don't count your chikens.
see yall.

My world.

What's happening in my world! well kneehigh is having there dress tonight as they open on thursday and the studio has some show called "women lay eggs" which, seems to be about women laying eggs using actors and puppets and simulated sex scenes between the two. Personaly nothing surprises me in this business any more.
On the personal side we are still waiting to find out when we are moving, Poppy is teething like a trooper and vic has her MRI next week.
That's the lot so far but im sure there will be there tomorrow.

Just as an addition this caught my eye in the paper today.

"11 children have been found locked in cages in a house. the adopted kids, aged between 1 and 14 , were discoverd in 9 cages built into the walls. they were not given blankets or pillows, police said. there foster parents from Wakmen, Ohio have denied abusing or neglecting them and have not been charged."

Denied abusing or neglecting! not been charged! something tells me that the defenition of abuse or neglect needs to be explained to the Ohio authorities.

My weekend.
Well it has been a fun weekend.

Saturday was spent at the kite festival at Ashton court. It was fantastic good food (at festival prices) and some excellent kite flying along side some fantastic creations from Giant teddy bears and a giant gecko to mermaids and fish. The weather stayed beautiful and poppy loved the kites.

Sunday was spent at the Organic food festival in the center of Bristol hosted by the soil association. I expected it to be a bunch of hippie farmers selling cheese and marrow but it was truly excellent. There was loads of freebie food, (The British are an odd bunch we will queue for everything until it's free then it turns into a riot, don't go to a green and blacks stall when there giving out freebies.) some great stalls for stuff for kids, clothes, food etc bought some lovely Chocolate tort from mama organic, some great clothes for poppy, some baby food and some organic lager.
We also let poppy have a run around in the fountains in millennium square with about 200 other kids. She had a total blast and wouldn't stop screeching and chuckling.

We had a fantastic weekend, spent to much, ate to much and had a great time, now it's on with the work.

Last time I promise.
  1. I have just been watching a program of mixed news reports from America (NBC, ABC, Sky etc) and the UK and this is a message to all Americans. Turn over, find a non American News program because if this is what you are seeing you have not seen half of it.
  2. You were on holiday! You were on fucking holiday, well I'm sure glad you cut that holiday short, shame it wasn't the same day you heard about a city being wiped out. I suppose though you needed those extra couple of days for a bit of a hunt with Ma and Pa and the good ole boys.

Ok that's it I promise..........

I just have to add though, to all the families and people who are suffering at the moment my thought's and prayers are with you and to the couple who's baby was born yesterday on the freeway of New Orleans. Protect her, love her and you will all pull through.

Dear Mr Bush
Thank you.

For a while now I have thought you an incompetent bumbling idiot, But I have been wrong. Only a true leader can command his people so well, can mobilise a army in days, can provide troops, supplies, transport, Engineers and medics all with a single phone call, you are truly a man to be reckoned with. The people of Iraq and the rest of the world should be proud that you are the leader of the most powerful country in the world, that you have unlimited recourses at your control, that you are decisive and have a total grasp of priorities.

So what if one of your cities lies under 8ft of water, who cares that the survivors of katrina are dying due to lack of food and water and are not being evacuated, it is not important that the police of New Orleans are deserting and that fires are burning out of control, you have a war to fight. After all It is a city with a large black community, they didn't vote for you so fuck it, terrorists that you cant find on the other side of the world are far more important.

Your decisive and quick action of waiting nearly a week before sending help to Louisiana probably saved the tax payer millions in hospital care, aid relief, insurance claims etc all of which can be put back into that all important war on terror happening on the other side of the world. The people of New Orleans can take comfort in this fact that while there children are dying of malnutrition, disease or being shot while scrounging for food that they are helping to rid the world of terrorist's and help secure those extra few barrels of oil that are needed to shore up Americas dwindling supplies.

To add to my awe I feel that your flight over New Orleans in air force one was genius, you attempted to boost the morale of the populous by showing concern while not actually doing anything. What a master stroke.

I also feel that the people of the US should be proud that you stood up to those nasty people at the UN and said NO to the Kyoto treaty, That you refused to bend to there will and reduce the emission form Americas industrial sector and that you refused to believe global warming was an issue. Katrina proves that it would have happened anyway and that you factory's belching out millions of tons of toxic gases have nothing to do with it.

Mr president I salute you, you are truly the

BIGGEST FUCKING MORON TO EVER WALK THIS EARTH PLEASE DON'T BREED THE WORLD COULDN'T TAKE IT.

that's better I feel all refreshed.

The weekend was a laugh, we arrived in cornwall on Thursday and after a plesent afternoon we spent the evening drinking sue's home brew * and chatting.
Friday was spent at vic's brothers sorting his comp and shopping for the bbq on saturday, after a lovley dinner, friday eve was spent by the fire chatting with people who had arrived early.
Saturday was spent sorting the marquee and fire pit** and getting tables, chairs and food down to the site on the back of kevins little tractor. Saturday evening was a great bbq and lots of drunken sillyness, also a little fire breathing show from julian and more drinking till the wee hours.
Sunday was a child free day as sue offerd to look after poppy while we all went for Sunday lunch. Sunday eve was nice and quiet and spent watching a movie with julians folks.

All in all a good weekend. I will be trying to get photos posted soon.
