I have a cold, well i have the lurkings of a cold which seems to be waiting to strike on xmas day, bastad virus.

I am happy however to see that my taxes ar not going to waist.
Let me tell you a saga.

I live in Easton, bristol and about a year ago we had a lovley visit from Mr David blunkett MP.
Mr blunkett spent all of the mornig in a Public meeting (That no public were allowed into) to discuss the issues in easton (no representatives of easton were allowed into the meeting).

"Mr blunkett then went for a walkabout along St Marks Road (important for later) and talked to some of the local residents" (Quoted from national news) what actually happed was he got out of a car surrounded by police spoke to a shop owner, local residant tried to ask a question, Mr B usherd back into car. Total visit time approx 5mins.

Mr B then went onto national TV and proclamed to the nation that Stapleton road (mr B did not visit here) was one of the 5 worse road in the country. (cheers mr B i live there)

Well lots of ho haa ensued and the police finally go on telly, with a shot of a couple of armed police wandering along stapleton road (the one and only time they were armed), to say that they have now secured funding for police to patrol stapleton road and environs for two years.

Great bobbys on the beat, for two years. Clearing up the crime or at least detering it. and it was FOR AT LEAST 3 MONTHS
Then the police dissaper never to been seen again.

Is there a happy ending to my tale i hear you wonder. Well we shall see.

Night before last i get on the bus to be told i will have to walk the last part of Stapleton road as the police have closed off part of it.
After a bus ride, a short walk (10.30 at night, freezing cold) i reach a barrier, Am informed "cant go down there have to go round they will let me through", another short walk back down stapleton road (Toes loosing feeling, Hands numb, suspect frostbite) Another short walk around.
After 3 barriers 4 Police man and suffering from hyperthermia i arrive home.

And what was it i hear you ask? An unavoidable accident, an unpreventable road traffic accident, somthing that could have possably been prevented by a small police presence over the last 6 months.

Well it was a shooting out on a busy street.

So i will let you decide.


Ohh buy the way i Pay only slightly less in councal tax that my grandpearents, In LONDON

Sorry to all for not posting what with the funeral, work, christmas etc I just have not had time.

Thanks again to all who have sent condolences Vicky is very appreciative.

BABY WATCH: No bump yet but it is still early days the first scan is set for the 3rd of Feb

XP THE MOST STABLE OPERATING SYSTEM ON THE MARKET NOT!.
I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS TRULY POSSIBLE FOR MICROSOFT TO DESIGN A PROGRAM WORSE THAN W98 BUT THEY HAVE SUCCEEDED, CONGRATS.

Ahh that's my little rant over with.

Birthdays
Well I had a great birthday on Thursday and increased my dvd collection by 10.

My fav prez was volume 1 of the "dukes of hazard", i now remember what hotpants were made for all hail DAISY DUKE. cheers vic.

but my birthday is over now and on to more serious matters as it is the funeral on monday and things are a little fraught, I would like however like to say a big thank you everyone out there for your kind wishes, they are much appreciated.

Bowling For columbine
What can I say! If you haven't watched this film, do so, like all of Michael moore's stuff it is a real eye opener.

And it has inspired me to go on a G.W. Bush trawl of my own (goggle is such a wonderful place) you can find everything from the White house blog, comparing national leaders, clearing out those pesky family closets or selling of some old junk


Google is also good for satire, Funny pics, Animation, Quotes, Politics and lastly religion.

Spam email up date
Not been a bad week for spam this week.

Here is my weekly breakdown:

33 invitations to porn (mostly all seem to be concerning Paris Hilton)
27 invitations to purchase viagra (I really don't think I could use that much in one life time)
2 chances to enlarge my penis
2 chances to use eBay (Because I wish my credit card to be drained)
1 chance to by a quality piece of software.

Once again quality stuff

Why am I still doing this you ask, well I have decided that I would like to see how much crap I get sent in a year so I'm totting it all up and next Dec I will see what the score is.

Back to the norm.

It has been an interesting week full of highs and lows, and I suppose that's life but I do wish it wouldn't happen all at once, it can be rather annoying.

Well its Saturday, I'm working two shows today, I think I have said enough interesting stuff this week so I'm going to leave it at that.

Well adding to the confusion of this week I would like to confirm to all out there that I am going to be a dad.

I know scary aint it.

I am very proud to announce that Vicky is 3 months pregnant.

so apart from having no sleep, no money and no life for the next 20 years I am rather looking forward to fatherhood, Who am I kidding I'm bricking it. But I think that is a natural reaction.

Ok starting to ramble now I'm going to leave that with you and come back when I have something more intelligible to say.

What a week
Well folks this is turning out to be rather a bad week.

I am sad to report that Vicky's (my partner for those who dont know) Father Died on monday night.

Hence the reason i have not enterd a blog for a few days. Vicky is doing ok under the curcumstances.
